You can swap Light Cruisers and heavier ships. Killing decks + killing flagship + psychic scream can usually scatter the fleet with mutiny (except for space marines). The modifications done to the retired ship are not refunded, so think twice before dismissing a unit. In exchange, you get a brand new ship, which is on the same level, with equal amount of modification points available (you still have to pay for the modifications). If you whish to dismiss a unit, it won't be available any more. It's useful when you're disappointed with your current ship, or repairing it would cost too much. You can swap any ship for another, within the same class. It's particularly useful in online modes. The name you chose will appear on the list in the Shipyard, while assembling your fleet before a battle, and in game's HUD during a battle. Each ship has a pre-determined name, but you only have to left-click the name of a ship to change it. You can rename any ship in your fleet, which can make orientation on the battlefield easier. After unlocking the slot you can choose from a list of available units within the given class.Ī special prompt will inform you of the possibility of buying a new slot. At the same time, it also requires some Renown Points - each slot is paid for individually. As soon as the possibility to buy a new ship occurs, you have to do it. ![]() It can be a higher class ship, or another unit within the same class. After reaching a higher level, an option of buying a new ship slot will appear on the ship list. Its availability depends on the development of your admiral. Heavier ships can be modified in all four areas. Support ships can only be modified in one section, called Upgrades. Some of the ships have modification points from the very beginning, so you can customize the ship at level one. Different points belong to each of those sections so you cant spend all of them in only one section. You cover the costs with modification points that each ship earns with reaching a new level. The Shipyard offers four separate sections for unit modification. If a unit needs repairs, a red wheel will appear on its icon in the Shipyard. You can repair all classes of ships from Light Cruisers to Battleships. In case of a full repair, the cost rises considerably, but during a campaign, it's better to spend some Renown Points. You can bring scrapped units back to duty here. Repairing isn't expensive, especially of the smaller ships. You can rename your ships here, learn their detailed statistics, as well as swap a unit with another ship within the same class. You can also add new ships to your fleet if your admiral reaches new levels. You can repair your ships after a battle as well as modify, develop, and enhance your ships. You can use the Shipyard in between the missions of the campaign or skirmish scenario. ![]() |
